Job Description Summary:
Creating and implementing marketing and promotional plans for Oakland University Athletics and all its sports programs while enhancing the game day and fan experience. Oversee video board features for in-arena games and script writing for all home events. Execute all in-game/fan engagement elements in addition to the implementation and follow through of theme nights and promotions. Work closely with the ticket sales staff on promotions, and assist with corporate sponsorship activation and execution of contractual elements. Oversight of marketing internship program, mascot program, and in-game elements for dance team and band.
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Perform all job duties in a manner consistent with NCAA, conference and University rules, regulations, ordinances, policies, procedures and guidelines.
One year experience in marketing and in-game fan engagement and promotions at the collegiate or professional level.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with others.
A valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the University by the University's insurance carrier.
Two years of marketing and in-game/ fan engagement experience within intercollegiate athletics or professional sports.
