The Convention Services Manager provides convention services and resources to groups meeting in Grand Rapids. This position is responsible for soliciting repeat convention business and securing group bookings according to established yearly personal sales goal. The Convention Services Manager acts as a liaison between convention groups and resources within our destination.The Convention Services Manager will contribute to the mission of Experience Grand Rapids: Growing an exceptional community by sharing Grand Rapids with the world.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Establishes and maintains communication with convention groups planning to hold their conference in Grand Rapids.2. Sends out service leads and partner referrals to connect convention clients to local
